Job Requirements
- Completion of sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
- One to two years of experience as a custodian or in a closely related field
- Ability to work evening hours from 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Capacity to perform physical tasks as required
- Compliance with district policies including nondiscrimination and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Completion of sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
- One to two years of experience as a custodian or in a closely related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas including classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas
- Dispose of trash and recyclable materials in accordance with district policies
- Maintain custodial equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs
- Follow safety and health guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment
- Respond to cleaning requests and special projects as assigned
- Support the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for school events
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and submit purchase requests as necessary
