Job Requirements

must be able to lift, pull or push 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
a 50-pound lift test will be required
effective communication skills
ability to work well with others in a team setting

Job Qualifications

knowledge of cleaning and related custodial duties is desirable
demonstrated ability to use hand tools, machines and equipment such as floor machines, vacuums, etc., is desirable
must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff and the general public
must be able to get along with others in a team situation

Job Duties

function as lead custodian for the second shift
coordinate the set-up of special events
coordinate work of other custodians on second shift
perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds
maintain equipment in functional condition
provide cleaning and custodial assistance to students, teachers, visitors and others as necessary
perform related duties and general maintenance work as required
