Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of culinary experience
- preferably with junior sous chef background
- must complete sanitation course before or within first year
- knowledge of food safety and health codes
- ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Job Duties
- Supervise kitchen personnel and food production under the Sous Chef's direction
- ensure food preparation meets Aramark's quality, consistency, and timelines standards
- maintain sanitation procedures, organize work areas, and uphold health codes
- exhibit knowledge of scheduling and assist in training new culinary team members
- perform and supervise opening, closing, and side work duties
- keep equipment, workstations, walk-ins, and freezers clean, organized, and stocked while ensuring proper food temperatures and storage
- partner with service personnel and restaurant managers to satisfy guests
- maintain food cost within set parameters
- assist in monthly inventory and read/execute BEOs for catering functions
- perform other assigned duties
