Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass Federal and State background check
  • Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Managers certification
  • Proven experience as a chef, culinary instructor, or in a related culinary role
  • Proven ability to teach and communicate effectively with both adults and children
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain complex concepts

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assure class is set up and ready with all need ingredients and equipment being used 30-45 minutes prior to class start
  • Teach hands-on cooking classes and demonstrations, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in instruction
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged and motivated
  • Ensure that all safety procedures and protocols are followed in the kitchen environment
  • Design and organize the menu and recipes for the class
