Job Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Intermediate level computer knowledge and typing skills
  • Knowledge of airline and aviation terminology and/or aviation experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solver
  • Previous Crew Scheduling and/or supervisory experience strongly preferred

Job Duties

  • Monitors schedules in the performance of tasks such as maintaining the crew management system, managing daily reserves, daily checklists, managing all IOE flights, telephone procedures, and departmental projects
  • Provide guidance to schedulers on necessary crew changes due to sick calls, training requirements, or other unforeseen circumstances
  • Execute operational plans during irregular operations caused by weather, ATC, maintenance, or security disruptions
  • Ensure schedulers perform assigned tasks in a logical order, re-assess priorities consistently, and adhere to the approved system control communication process when making all decisions
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to all schedulers as needed
  • Ensure the Crew Schedulers receive proper training to perform their daily duties in accordance with applicable FARs and union contracts
  • Work directly with Crew Payroll, Training Records, Dispatch, Chief Pilot, and Inflight departments to ensure accurate flight hours, training hours, premium pay, leave status, and terminations are reflected in scheduling systems
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
