Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • must have 2+ years experience in distribution or warehouse environment with relevant knowledge
  • must possess good written and oral communication skills
  • experience with SAP and/or equivalent required
  • must be able to lift/move 5-25 lbs continuously and 25-60 lbs frequently
  • must be flexible in work hours and able to adjust quickly to business needs
  • responsible for planning coverage and filling in where needed
  • GTS efficient

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in a distribution or warehouse center environment with knowledge of warehouse inventory management computer systems and material handling equipment
  • good written and oral communication skills
  • experience with SAP or equivalent systems
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment
  • ability to read and interpret distribution documents
  • basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • general distribution knowledge
  • previous leadership experience preferred

Job Duties

  • prepare commercial invoices and shipper's letter of instructions for all export shipments
  • arrange for pick-ups with assigned freight forwarders
  • coordinate with customs, brokers, and FDA for traceability of import and export shipments
  • process FedEx, DHL, UPS, and Express Mail shipments and request FedEx SEDs when appropriate
  • provide detailed monthly report of activity with international carriers and customers
  • process customer orders and oversee all paperwork associated with orders
  • maintain import documentation records for international transportation
  • coordinate carrier planning and manage special shipping requests with Transportation and Operations
  • run reports and generate all related paperwork and necessary information
  • schedule shipments in a timely and accurate manner
  • assist with responsibilities of other distribution positions during times of urgency, breaks, absences, or vacation
