Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours between 5:00am and 8:30pm
clearance approval into the facility
physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

ability to work well in a structured correctional environment
ability to read and follow company recipes
ability to lift up to 50 pounds
ability to lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations
previous food service or kitchen experience preferred
strong character and positive attitude

Job Duties

lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up
read and follow company recipes accurately
ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
manage kitchen staff schedules and coordinate tasks
maintain inventory control and order supplies as needed
monitor food quality and portion control
enforce facility rules and maintain a secure working environment
