Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years experience in food and beverage industry
  • at least six months supervisory experience
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • Three years experience in the food and beverage industry
  • six months to one year in a supervisory position
  • knowledge of cooking techniques in a la carte and banquet settings
  • some wine and fine food knowledge
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • effective leadership and mentoring skills

Job Duties

  • Manage kitchen food service operations
  • oversee and coordinate culinary staff activities
  • ensure meals meet high quality standards
  • manage inventory and control food costs
  • develop and implement new menu items
