Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years of experience in the food and beverage industry
- at least six months supervisory experience
- effective communication skills
- food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
- ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- ability to lead and mentor staff
Job Qualifications
- three years experience in the food and beverage industry
- six months to one year in a supervisory position
- knowledge of wine and fine food helpful
- ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- valid food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
- effective communication skills with public and team members
Job Duties
- manage kitchen food service operations
- oversee and coordinate culinary staff activities
- ensure meals are prepared to high-quality standards
- manage inventory and control food costs
- develop and implement new menu items
- train and mentor culinary staff
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
