Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years of experience in the food and beverage industry
  • at least six months supervisory experience
  • effective communication skills
  • food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • ability to lead and mentor staff

Job Qualifications

  • three years experience in the food and beverage industry
  • six months to one year in a supervisory position
  • knowledge of wine and fine food helpful
  • ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • valid food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • effective communication skills with public and team members

Job Duties

  • manage kitchen food service operations
  • oversee and coordinate culinary staff activities
  • ensure meals are prepared to high-quality standards
  • manage inventory and control food costs
  • develop and implement new menu items
  • train and mentor culinary staff
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
