Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • High school diploma or education equivalent required
  • Food service or Culinary Arts degree preferred
  • 3 years' restaurant kitchen and 5 years' overall culinary experience
  • Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct
  • Holds a valid Gaming License
  • Certified Food Handler
  • ServSafe certification

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or education equivalent
  • Food service or Culinary Arts degree preferred

  • 5 years' overall culinary experience

Job Duties

  • Supervises the work of cooks to ensure that all given tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Ensures that all cooking stations are adequately stocked with the necessary meal ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepares all dishes and proper portion control of items ordered for assigned outlet
  • Assists with the preparation, presentation, decoration, and storage of all food items
  • Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information
  • Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and government rules and regulations
  • Works in a safe manner at all times
  • Assists in other kitchens of the Casino as necessary
  • Maintains the work area clean and organized
  • Deep cleans the area at the end of shifts
  • Follows the proper closing procedure with cleaning and labeling
  • Attends periodic meetings and training sessions
  • Meets guests needs through timely and proper handling of all equipment and chemicals
  • Promotes positive public and employee relations
  • Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned
