Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food preparation and cooking
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to move objects weighing approximately 35 lbs to waist height
- Knowledge of health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Ability to follow company and client protocols for workplace safety and sanitation
- Positive attitude
- Ability to receive and store deliveries properly
Job Qualifications
- Comprehend verbal and written food recipes, production orders, cooking instructions, and techniques for daily menu preparation
- Follow all outlined health and safety regulations for equipment use and personal hygiene
- Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude
- Provide courteous customer service
- Ability to perform tasks as directed by supervisor
Job Duties
- Produce, prepare, and cook foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering orders as directed by the Chef Manager
- Set up work stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food as determined by the supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations
- Provide customer service in a courteous manner at all times
- Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate, and properly store deliveries
- Adhere to client and company protocols related to workplace safety and sanitation standards
- Perform other jobs as determined by the supervisor
