Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food preparation and cooking
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to move objects weighing approximately 35 lbs to waist height
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and food handling regulations
  • Ability to follow company and client protocols for workplace safety and sanitation
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to receive and store deliveries properly

Job Qualifications

  • Comprehend verbal and written food recipes, production orders, cooking instructions, and techniques for daily menu preparation
  • Follow all outlined health and safety regulations for equipment use and personal hygiene
  • Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude
  • Provide courteous customer service
  • Ability to perform tasks as directed by supervisor

Job Duties

  • Produce, prepare, and cook foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering orders as directed by the Chef Manager
  • Set up work stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food as determined by the supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations
  • Provide customer service in a courteous manner at all times
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate, and properly store deliveries
  • Adhere to client and company protocols related to workplace safety and sanitation standards
  • Perform other jobs as determined by the supervisor
