Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cooking experience in a similar food service environment
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written recipes and instructions
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in food preparation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Duties
- Produce, prepare and cook a variety of foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees and catering items as directed by the Chef Manager
- Set up station prior to service with appropriate equipment and foods determined by the supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following health, safety and food handling regulations
- Provide courteous customer service at all times
- Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and properly store deliveries
- Perform additional job tasks as assigned by the supervisor
