Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours between 9:00am - 6:30pm
  • Clearance approval into the facility
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment
  • Ability to read and follow company recipes
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in food preparation or kitchen work preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up
  • Ensure compliance with company recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and serving areas
  • Oversee food safety procedures and inventory management
  • Collaborate with correctional facility staff to maintain secure operations
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to promote efficiency and teamwork
  • Monitor and document daily kitchen activities and food production
