Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
- Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours between 9:00am - 6:30pm
- Clearance approval into the facility
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment
- Ability to read and follow company recipes
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up
- Ensure compliance with company recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and serving areas
- Oversee food safety procedures and inventory management
- Collaborate with correctional facility staff to maintain secure operations
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to promote efficiency and teamwork
- Monitor and document daily kitchen activities and food production
