Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
- flexibility to work varying shifts between 9:00 am and 6:30 pm
- clearance approval into the facility
Job Qualifications
- ability to work well in a structured correctional environment
- ability to read and follow company recipes
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations
- previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- lead kitchen staff and oversee meal preparation
- instruct and assist in cooking, baking, and food preparation
- ensure compliance with company recipes and quality standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- adhere to safety and security protocols within the correctional facility
- manage inventory and supplies as needed
- provide training and support to kitchen team members
