Job Requirements
- Ability to operate small kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers and cutters
- Must be familiar with all cook positions and assume their duties and leadership assignments as needed

Job Duties
- Serve as assistant to the Chef, Buffet Sous Chef, Steakhouse Chef, Sous Chef, Pastry Chef, and F&B Manager and assume responsibilities in their absence
- May be assigned to train, give instructions and prepare specialty items
- Assist supervisor in scheduling and performance feedback
- Conduct pre-shift meetings
- Prepare various cold menu items and garnishes accordingly
- Responsible for efficient and economical utilization of all products to facilitate lower food cost
- Assist with specials of the day in assigned outlets
- Inspect the following day's menus and write out food requisitions
- Ensure fast and clean servicing of all menu items to servers
- Control food production including proper cooking methods, times, and sanitation
- Greet and complete payment transactions on POS system
- Deliver food items to guests
- Adequately prepare for peak business levels and maintain high guest service
- Prepare all food items from standardized recipes
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically
- Perform bartender or coffee bar attendant duties if 21 years old and have a high school diploma or GED
- Perform other duties as assigned
