Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety regulations
  • Ability to work evening shifts
  • Ability to stand walk or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift carry and move items up to 25 pounds without assistance

  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh measure and mix ingredients
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality and presentation standards
  • Prepare cold foods
  • Operate ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
  • Test foods to determine proper cooking levels
  • Monitor food quality
  • Set up and break down work stations
  • Serve food in proper portions on proper receptacles
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area tables tools knives and equipment
  • Check and ensure correctness of temperatures of appliances and food
  • Follow company safety and security policies and report maintenance needs accidents injuries and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Stand walk or sit for extended periods
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
