Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Knowledge of standard kitchen safety and hygiene practices
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Job Duties
- Prepare meals including entrées, soups, salads, sauces, desserts and snacks
- Ensure cooking stations are stocked with necessary ingredients and equipment
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and adhere to food safety standards
- Apply standard food rotation practices to reduce waste
- Assess quality of delivered food supplies
- Wash and clean kitchen utensils and equipment
- Supervise and train Line Cooks and other kitchen staff
