Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food preparation or cooking
  • Ability to supervise and train staff
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Knowledge of standard kitchen safety and hygiene practices
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals including entrées, soups, salads, sauces, desserts and snacks
  • Ensure cooking stations are stocked with necessary ingredients and equipment
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and adhere to food safety standards
  • Apply standard food rotation practices to reduce waste
  • Assess quality of delivered food supplies
  • Wash and clean kitchen utensils and equipment
  • Supervise and train Line Cooks and other kitchen staff
