Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Availability to work both AM and PM shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to supervise and lead kitchen staff
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain productivity
Job Qualifications
- Minimum three years' experience cooking in a high-volume full-service kitchen
- Previous union experience preferred
- Experience with banquet and catering culinary operations is an asset
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Oversee preparation of food in all areas during assigned shift
- Prepare fish and meats
- Assist and support kitchen team members
- Communicate any challenges to Chef/Sous Chef
- Assist Chef/Sous Chef in overseeing cleanliness and sanitation
- Set up daily specials and happy hour food according to schedule and spaces
- Visually inspect food quality and presentation
- Prepare staff schedules with guidance of Chef/Sous Chef
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company food handling and food storage procedures
