Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2 to 4 years experience in fast-paced restaurant or catering environment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, kneel, lift at least 30 pounds, and walk long distances
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team under pressure
  • Must have access to working email
  • Must maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance
  • Must be available for most Colorado Rapids games on Saturdays and Wednesdays
  • Must complete full application process

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred
  • 2 to 4 years experience in a fast-paced restaurant, catering, or relevant food service area
  • Lead experience preferred
  • Ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders, recipes, prep lists, menus, and signage
  • Willingness to work in outdoor stadium conditions including adverse weather
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organized with strong prioritization skills
  • Clean and constantly aware of sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to maintain personal hygiene and well-groomed appearance
  • Able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
  • Physically able to stand, kneel, lift at least 30 pounds, carry items, push carts, walk fast, and bend
  • Practice safe work habits and complete all required safety training
  • Working email for communication with management teams

Job Duties

  • Organize culinary staff efforts in assigned area under direct supervision
  • Assist Sous Chef and Culinary Supervisors with menu development and execution for concessions, catering, and premium locations
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
  • Assist in training, safety, sanitation, and accident prevention within the kitchen
  • Ensure all recipes and methods are followed accurately
  • Report and document hazardous conditions or unsafe practices
  • Work with supervisory staff on food production, execution, and service to ensure consistent food quality and presentation
