Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties
  • Ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a cook in a high-volume kitchen
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Experience with scratch-prepared, restaurant-style cooking preferred
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Take charge of grill and stovetop cooking during daily dinner service
  • Lead kitchen prep and coordinate food production for a high-volume service line
  • Ensure meals meet quality, consistency, and presentation standards
  • Work alongside a supportive culinary team focused on resident satisfaction
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
  • Support menu execution and daily prep based on production sheets
