Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
  • flexibility to work varying shifts between 9:30am - 6:30pm
  • clearance approval into the facility
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • ability to work well in a structured correctional environment
  • ability to read and follow company recipes
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • attention to detail and commitment to food safety
  • previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up
  • read and follow company recipes accurately
  • supervise kitchen staff and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment
  • manage inventory and report supply needs
  • enforce facility clearance and security protocols
  • adapt to varying shifts and cover weekends and holidays
  • collaborate with management to improve food service operations
