Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Prepare special meals or replace products
  • regulate oven, grill, and rotisserie temperatures
  • thaw frozen food properly in refrigeration
  • ensure correct portions, plating, and garnishing of food
  • maintain food records
  • monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared
  • communicate and coordinate with kitchen and food and beverage staff
  • report excess food products for daily specials
  • inform F&B staff about rejected products and available specials
  • ensure food quality standards
  • prepare dishes according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
  • prepare cold dishes
  • assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
  • serve as a role model
  • comply with safety and company policies
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • participate in safety trainings and certifications
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • anticipate and respond to guest service needs
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • cultivate positive working relationships
  • support team goals
  • ensure quality expectations and standards are met
  • perform physical activities including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods
