Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years in a high-volume hands-on production kitchen
- Experience in inventory management
- Must hold a valid food safety certification (ServSafe Food Handler or ServSafe Manager)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced customer-focused environment
- High level of personal accountability and decision-making ability

Job Duties
- Prepare large quantities of food using standardized recipes adhering to production schedules and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the Dining Services Director and Sous Chef Manager to review adjust and complete inventory ensure adequate supplies are available
- Promote a positive and respectful work environment encouraging teamwork and courteous interactions with residents families and staff
- Supervise and support kitchen staff through coaching counseling development and performance management
- Assist with employee evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed
- Exercise sound judgment in problem-solving and implementing operational improvements
- Maintain cleanliness safety and order in all dietary service areas conduct regular inspections
