Job Duties
- Uphold food quality through the careful preparation and cooking of dishes tailored to individual orders, while adhering to established kitchen procedures
- Monitor and manage levels of food waste and inventory, taking action to address any issues related to food quality
- Build a cohesive team dynamic between the kitchen and serving staff
- Nurture crew members with potential to emerge as kitchen leaders in the future
- Effectively interact with Crew members and patrons to guarantee excellent customer service and smooth service flow
- Ensure that the kitchen space is consistently sanitized and free from dirt
- Oversee the upkeep of kitchen machinery to ensure they are functioning correctly and address any problems promptly
- Make sure to comply with safety guidelines to reduce the chances of accidents and harm
- Follow the necessary protocols by completing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and adhering to Inventory Rotation practices using the FIFO method
