Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • The primary duties of this job involve supervising the food quality and safety protocols at Chipotle
  • These responsibilities include cooking various proteins, sautéing vegetables, managing ingredient supplies, training upcoming leaders, and ensuring kitchen cleanliness
  • Your role is fundamental in encouraging teamwork and preserving the utmost standards for food preparation and customer care
  • Uphold food quality through the careful preparation and cooking of dishes tailored to individual orders, while adhering to established kitchen procedures
  • Monitor and manage levels of food waste and inventory, taking action to address any issues related to food quality
  • Build a cohesive team dynamic between the kitchen and serving staff
  • Nurture crew members with potential to emerge as kitchen leaders in the future
  • Effectively interact with Crew members and patrons to guarantee excellent customer service and smooth service flow
  • Ensure that the kitchen space is consistently sanitized and free from dirt
  • Oversee the upkeep of kitchen machinery to ensure they are functioning correctly and address any problems promptly
  • Make sure to comply with safety guidelines to reduce the chances of accidents and harm
  • Follow the necessary protocols by completing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and adhering to Inventory Rotation practices using the FIFO method
