Job Requirements
- Prior culinary and cooking experience required
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday with varying shifts
- Ability to follow federal, state and local food safety regulations
- Ability to clean and operate kitchen equipment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Willingness to assist in employee training
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Prior culinary and cooking experience
- Ability to oversee cooking activities and manage kitchen staff
- Familiarity with HACCP and food safety standards
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Experience with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director
- Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes
- Operate and clean equipment after each use
- Perform scheduled routine cleaning
- Store, label and date food items according to policy
- Help maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products
- Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
- Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations
- Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and complete all required documentation, reports, and logs
- Assist in the cross training of employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
