Job Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with GED
  • Preferred food preparation experience in healthcare
  • Preferred knowledge of sanitation requirements
  • Preferred 2 years experience leading food service operations
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills

Job Duties

  • Lead meal presentation and ensure timeliness of meal service
  • Assist with daily operations and staffing needs
  • Prepare nutritious food for retail, patient services, and coffee kiosks following recipe guidelines
  • Ensure excellence in appearance of all foods served
  • Maintain temperature and sanitation guidelines
  • Coordinate with Nutrition Services Supervisor and Manager
  • Demonstrate multi-tasking and critical thinking skills
