Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to work varying shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must obtain certification in specified alcohol service program within 14 days of employment
  • must obtain certification in specified food safety program within 30 days of employment
  • ability to perform physical activities typical of an entertainment environment including walking, bending, standing, and lifting with assistance
  • part-time availability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three to five years of operational experience
  • culinary or food management degree is a plus
  • strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • high integrity and respect for customers, vendors, and employees
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong team player and people developer
  • knowledge of and adherence to workplace safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Plan and prepare food in appropriate quantities based on customer volume
  • assure food orders are prepared, presented, and delivered according to company standards
  • act as a mentor to kitchen staff and train employees on procedures, presentation, sanitation, and equipment use
  • maintain sanitation and organization of cooking and storage areas per guidelines
  • check calibration of cooking and refrigeration equipment weekly
  • wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes and cooking equipment as per health regulations
  • receive and inspect food and supply orders, ensure proper storage and stock rotation
  • work the food line preparing menu items and supervise kitchen staff
  • maintain a clean, safe environment
  • assist colleagues with duties to prevent service delays
  • respond promptly to customer inquiries and take ownership to resolve
  • become certified in alcohol service and food safety programs within specified timeframes
  • work varying shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
