Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED or equivalent hospitality experience
  • previous experience in cooking, busboy, waiter, or steward roles
  • food handling certifications such as ServSafe
  • prior kitchen experience preferred but not mandatory
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • commitment to guest service excellence

Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients according to recipes
  • cook meals to order following food safety procedures
  • maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment
  • assist other cooks and the Chef in food preparation and delivery
  • ensure adherence to hotel grooming and dress codes
  • engage effectively with team members to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly
  • organize and manage kitchen tasks efficiently
