Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent hospitality experience
- previous experience in cooking, busboy, waiter, or steward roles
- food handling certifications such as ServSafe
- prior kitchen experience preferred but not mandatory
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- commitment to guest service excellence
Job Duties
- prepare ingredients according to recipes
- cook meals to order following food safety procedures
- maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment
- assist other cooks and the Chef in food preparation and delivery
- ensure adherence to hotel grooming and dress codes
- engage effectively with team members to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly
- organize and manage kitchen tasks efficiently
