Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a culinary or food service management role
  • Ability to work primarily morning shifts with occasional evening shifts
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
  • Physical capability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in managing kitchen or culinary operations
  • Knowledge of health and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage food ordering and inventory
  • Experience in menu planning and food preparation
  • Ability to supervise and motivate a team
  • Culinary certification or degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage the breakfast operation including appropriate breakfast and lunch prep for expected volume and banquet activity
  • Communicate with AM Breakfast Attendants to ensure they are informed on daily requirements and timing
  • Supervise the weekly specialty breakfast item program for guest satisfaction
  • Supervise the execution of banquet lunches ensuring production guidelines and schedules are met
  • Ensure daily and weekly cleaning schedules are followed and assign cleaning tasks
  • Ensure Ecosure health and sanitation standards are adhered to including temperature logs and proper food labeling
  • Supervise and enhance the daily employee lunch program including menu preparation and focus on healthy cost-effective items
