Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have night and weekend availability
- Certification in Lucky Strike Entertainment alcohol service program within 14 days of employment
- Certification in Lucky Strike Entertainment food safety program within 30 days of employment
- Ability to walk, bend, stand for periods and occasionally lift objects with assistance
- Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays
- Ability to follow company sanitation and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three to five years of operational cooking experience
- Culinary or food management degree is a plus
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Strong team player and people developer
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Plans and prepares food in appropriate quantities based on number of customers to be served using the Lucky Strike Entertainment operations manual and prep sheets
- Assures all food orders are prepared, presented and delivered in accordance with the Lucky Strike Entertainment operations manual
- Acts as a mentor to all kitchen staff
- Trains employees on procedures, presentation, sanitation, safe use of equipment and cost controls
- Maintains sanitation and organization of cooking, storage, refrigeration and serving areas according to guidelines
- Weekly checks calibration of cooking and refrigeration equipment to ensure quality and freshness
- Washes, rinses and sanitizes dishes, equipment and utensils according to health department laws and sanitation products
- Receives and inspects food and supply orders, verifying condition, temperatures, product codes, and invoice accuracy
- Works the food line preparing menu items and supervising kitchen staff to ensure quality
- Maintains a clean, safe environment at all times
- Assists colleagues to prevent service delays
- Responds promptly to customer questions and requests, taking ownership to resolve issues
- Becomes certified in alcohol service and food safety programs within designated timeframes
- Works varying shifts including weekends, holidays and extended days to support business needs
