Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- At least 2 years of experience as a prep or line cook
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts starting as early as 5am
- Availability to work weekends
- Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of prep or line cook experience
- Experience leading a culinary team
- Knowledge of food safety and quality assurance practices
- Strong culinary skills including recipe adherence and knife techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, including weekends
Job Duties
- Assist the sous chefs in running the kitchen and overseeing the team
- Follow recipes, use proper knife skills, and apply cooking techniques to ensure consistency
- Share your knowledge and passion for food with customers by suggesting meal ideas using products from departments around the store
- Manage employee performance, including training, feedback and development opportunities
