Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of four years progressive responsibility in full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
  • ServeSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within three months
  • experience in various cooking stations and methods

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals following established recipes
  • support kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations through meal services
  • assist in training and development of line cooks and prep staff
  • maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
  • manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • collaborate with culinary team to develop menu items
  • ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
