- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of four years' progressive responsibility in a culinary environment
- ServeSafe certification or willingness to obtain within three months
- ability to work flexible hours
- strong attention to detail
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of four years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
- ServeSafe certification or willingness to obtain within three months
- experienced in all cooking stations and methods
- strong leadership and communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare meals according to established recipes
- support kitchen staff during meal services
- assist in training and development of line cooks and prep staff
- ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
- maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- follow food safety and sanitation standards
- manage inventory and supplies as needed
