Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of four years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
  • ServeSafe Certification or willing to obtain within the three-month introductory period
  • experienced in all cooking stations and methods

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals according to established recipes
  • support kitchen staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations during meal services
  • assist in training and development of line cooks and prep staff
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • manage inventory and food supplies
  • implement the organization's food philosophy by creating fresh and healthy menu options alongside indulgent items
