Job Requirements

  • Must be at least twenty-one years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • Possession of current Food Handlers Certification for Colorado
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally
  • Ability to maintain working relationships with employees and the public
  • Knowledge of health standards and compliance with regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • Six months supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Possession of current Food Handlers Certification for Colorado
  • Knowledge of food preparation for volume restaurant
  • Proficient math skills and ability to understand weights and measures
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Effective verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare, portion, and cook food products based on high-quality standards
  • Perform final plate preparation including plating and garnishing
  • Supervise other cooks as needed
  • Follow recipes and food production procedures accurately
  • Maintain compliance with health department and other regulatory standards
  • Manage time schedules for meal preparation and serving
  • Communicate effectively with team members and the public
