Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience supervising kitchen or culinary staff
  • valid food handler’s certification
  • knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
  • strong communication skills both written and verbal in English
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • ability to manage inventory and control food costs

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily food preparation and presentation
  • develop and customize menus based on resident needs and budget
  • train, schedule, and lead kitchen staff
  • maintain inventory controls and manage food costs
  • ensure kitchen sanitation and food safety protocols are followed
  • oversee use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • complete food production records accurately and on time
