Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum four years progressive responsibility in full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • ServeSafe certification or willing to obtain within three months
  • experienced in all cooking stations and methods

Job Duties

  • prepare meals according to established recipes
  • support kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal services
  • assist in training and development of line cooks and prep staff
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of cooking stations
  • monitor food quality and consistency
  • coordinate with management to implement menu changes and seasonal trends
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
