Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of menu and all food products
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to make continuous and repetitive arm-hand movements such as slicing or chopping food
- Ability to bend or stoop repeatedly during the shift such as removing items from stoves ovens and refrigerators
- Ability to lift and carry between 20-50 lbs over short distances 20 feet or less
Job Qualifications
- Two or more years of related culinary experience including supervisory experience
- Kansas City Food Handler permit required or must be obtained prior to beginning work
Job Duties
- Assisting supporting training and developing kitchen team members
- Preparing fish meats and other food items according to recipes and company standards
- Plating menu items according to portion and presentation standards
- Ensure consistency and quality across all food items for the restaurants and room service
- Monitor compliance with food safety cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of all kitchen stations where items are properly stocked labeled and rotated
- Assisting with menu development
