Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a line cook, preferably in a leadership role
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must comply with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Capable of standing for long periods and performing physically demanding tasks
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen operations, and food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
  • Know and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service
  • Portion food products prior to cooking according to recipe specifications
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, and fryers
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
  • Close the kitchen properly following the closing checklist and assist others in closing duties
  • Attend all scheduled team meetings and training sessions and suggest improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned such as dishwashing and bussing
