Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year of cooking experience preferably in a fast-paced restaurant
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- ability to stand for extended periods
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
- strong multitasking and organizational skills
- leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- effective communication skills

Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
- comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies
- stock and maintain sufficient food products at line stations
- portion food products prior to cooking according to standard sizes and recipe specifications
- maintain a clean and sanitary work station including tables, shelves and kitchen equipment
- assist in food prep during off-peak periods
- close the kitchen properly following the closing checklist
- attend team meetings and training sessions
- perform other duties such as dishwashing and bussing as assigned
