Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • high school diploma or education equivalent required
  • food service or Culinary Arts degree preferred
  • 3 years' restaurant kitchen and 5 years' overall culinary experience
  • demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct
  • holds required certifications such as Food Handler and ServSafe
  • holds a valid Gaming License

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • food service or Culinary Arts degree preferred
  • 3 years' restaurant kitchen experience
  • 5 years' overall culinary experience

Job Duties

  • Supervises the work of cooks to ensure that all given tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • ensures that all cooking stations are adequately stocked with the necessary meal ingredients and cooking equipment
  • prepares all dishes and proper portion control of items ordered for assigned outlet
  • assists with the preparation, presentation, decoration, and storage of all food items
  • communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information
  • complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and government rules and regulations
  • works in a safe manner at all times
  • assists in other kitchens of the Casino as necessary
  • maintains the work area clean and organized
  • deep cleans the area at the end of shifts
  • follows the proper closing procedure with cleaning and labeling
  • attends periodic meetings and training sessions
  • meets guests' needs through timely and proper handling of all equipment and chemicals
  • promotes positive public and employee relations
  • presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times
  • performs other duties as assigned
