Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one to three years customer service experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to use Microsoft Windows including Word and Excel
- must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population
- excellent telephone communication skills
- ability to handle multiple priorities
- good organizational, time management, and record keeping skills

- one to three years customer service experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to use Microsoft Windows including Word and Excel
- ability to use email and the Internet
- must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- excellent telephone communication skills
- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- ability to perform operations using units of American money, weight, volume, and distance
- general office skills such as use of copy machine
- good organizational, time management, and record keeping skills
- good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
- ability to handle multiple priorities
Job Duties
- Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required
- takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient
- greets residents and visitors and answers inquiries and gives directions
- collates brochures for the marketing department
- prepares meal tickets for team members and family members and tallies meal count sheets for dining staff
- updates the Resident Phone List, Roster, and Move-In and Move-Out Register daily, and Guest and Sign-In Logs as necessary
- manages appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
- maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized
- organizes and distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators
- maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits
- adheres to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
- creates and maintains staffing schedules
- ensures that telephones have required coverage at all times including coverage when concierges call out or request time off
- assists with the training of new concierges
- performs other duties as assigned
