Fort Sill Child Development Center is part of the Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) operating within the military community to support families by providing quality childcare and youth programs. Job Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate
- be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- possess and maintain a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, Military School Age Credential or Army Youth Practicum or other nationally recognized Youth Development Credential
- have two years of specialized experience working in a group program with children or youth plus an associate's degree or at least 60 semester hours with a major course of study related to child development or youth services
- or have a bachelor's degree or at least 120 semester hours with a major course of study related to child and youth development
- or possess 24 months working in a group childcare or youth program with completion of DoD approved competency training courses, evidenced by Service-issued documentation

Job Duties
- Provide safe and nurturing care for children and youth
- implement age-appropriate developmental activities
- supervise and monitor children during program hours
- assist with program national accreditation processes
- participate in child and youth program inspections
- communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
- mentor and support junior childcare and youth program staff
