Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- five years food service preparation experience
- valid driver's license
- SERV Safe certification
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand and work for long periods
- ability to work in a commercial kitchen environment
- good communication skills
- ability to remain calm under stress
- ability to work with diverse populations

Job Duties
- Ensure hot, nutritious meals are prepared daily
- train and supervise kitchen staff
- maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness
- order food and kitchen supplies
- plan weekly menus and work schedules
- communicate with Meal Program staff
- provide food service coverage during scheduled and emergency situations
- ensure food safety and health regulations compliance
- greet and support volunteers
- encourage volunteer engagement
- manage food deliveries and donations
- secure building after meal service
- support fundraising efforts
