Job Requirements
- Previous hospitality and food service experience preferred but not required
- ability to work full time or part time schedules
- availability for rotating weekends
- strong attention to detail
- ability to manage cash and media responsibly
- effective communication skills
- capability to supervise and lead cashier team
- willingness to cover shifts when needed
- ability to perform physical tasks related to housekeeping and merchandise replenishment
- compliance with company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in hospitality or food service is an asset but not required
- strong customer service skills
- leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- ability to handle cash and perform point-of-sale transactions accurately
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to train and support team members
- problem-solving skills
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- dependable and punctual
Job Duties
- Greet and acknowledge every guest
- maintain solid product knowledge
- provide outstanding guest service
- oversee and authorize guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, check authorization, charge sends, rain checks and discretion discounts
- assure completion of all PoS transactions and proper control of cash and media
- help train cashiers and crosstrain other associates
- help prepare daily deposits, change and media
- ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices
- support loss-prevention efforts
- oversee productivity, breaks, and scheduling of cashiers
- communicate performance issues to management
- maintain front-end supplies
- help provide guest service, floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and merchandise replenishment as needed
- cover cashier shifts when call-offs occur
- perform other duties as assigned
