Job Duties
- Greet and acknowledge every guest
- maintain solid product knowledge
- provide outstanding guest service
- oversee and authorize guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, check authorization, charge sends, rain checks, and discretion discounts
- assure completion of all PoS transactions and proper control of cash and media at PoS registers
- help train cashiers and crosstrain other associates
- help prepare daily deposits, change, and media
- ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices
- support loss-prevention efforts
- oversee the productivity, breaks, and daily scheduling of cashiers
- communicate performance issues to management
- maintain front-end supplies
- provide guest service, floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment as needed
- cover cashier shifts when call-offs occur
- perform other duties as assigned
