basic math and cash handling skills
ability to work a full-time schedule Monday through Friday

Job Duties

Greet and acknowledge every guest
maintain solid product knowledge
provide outstanding guest service
oversee and authorize guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, check authorization, charge sends, rain checks, and discretion discounts
assure completion of all PoS transactions and proper control of cash and media at PoS registers
help train cashiers and crosstrain other associates
help prepare daily deposits, change, and media
ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices
support loss-prevention efforts
oversee the productivity, breaks, and daily scheduling of cashiers
communicate performance issues to management
maintain front-end supplies
provide guest service, floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment as needed
cover cashier shifts when call-offs occur
perform other duties as assigned
