Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Capability to stand and be mobile continuously throughout shift
- Experience in cashiering and retail sales
- Commitment to upholding company policies and standards
- Availability to participate in ongoing training

- Willingness to maintain high standards of store cleanliness and organization
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- Strong customer service skills with experience addressing guest concerns professionally
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals
- Experience in training new employees
- Proficient with point of sale systems and basic technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to adapt in high-pressure situations and use good judgment
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store sales goals including retail, service, omni-channel, guest loyalty, and retail shrink
- Ensure exceptional guest service by greeting, engaging, personalizing service, and recommending products or services
- Handle sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges courteously
- Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events
- Maintain replenishment, organization, and cleanliness of cashwrap displays and supplies
- Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates
- Conduct cashier chat ins and chat outs and associate exit inspections
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and cash handling standards
- Complete register opening and closing functions as directed
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness throughout
- Protect company assets through loss prevention and safety procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and collaboration with team
- Promote guest loyalty program benefits and credit responsibility
- Drive cashier accountability for delivering Ulta Beauty brand experience
- Support an inclusive and engaging work environment
