Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old to hold the Lead Cashier position
- Ability to continuously move, bend, pull, push, crouch, stoop, lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to coordinate and manipulate objects during shifts
- Commitment to compliance with company policies and dress code
- Regular attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination
- Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service
- Experience addressing guest concerns professionally
- Demonstrated experience exceeding sales goals
- Proficiency with POS systems and Apple devices
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Ability to adapt and use good judgment under pressure
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail and service sales goals including guest loyalty and credit
- Ensure exceptional guest service through greeting and engaging guests and personalizing service
- Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously
- Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- Book appointments and support in-store events for enhanced guest experience and sales
- Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures to ensure guest readiness
- Assist in cashier training and cross-training other associates
- Check out registers with accuracy and adherence to company policies
- Support leadership with cashier chat ins/outs and associate exit inspections
- Comply with Ulta Beauty policies and standards and promote store cleanliness and safety
