Job Requirements

  • work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be at least 18 years old to hold the Lead Cashier role
  • continuous mobility throughout the store during shifts including twisting
  • frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, and reaching
  • frequent lifting or moving up to 25 pounds
  • continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shifts

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma preferred
  • 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
  • demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service
  • competency in selling
  • experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • track record of exceeding sales goals and training new hires
  • proficiency with basic technology including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
  • excellent written and verbal communication
  • strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work both independently and in a team
  • ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • ability to adapt under pressure and use good judgment

Job Duties

  • contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s retail and service sales goals, omni-channel goals, guest loyalty and retail shrink targets
  • ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and personalizing service and recommending products and services
  • handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously
  • pair guests with associates for makeup, skincare, and product demonstrations to drive sales
  • book appointments and support in-store events execution
  • maintain organization and replenishment of cashwrap displays and impulse fixtures
  • support leadership with cashier chat ins and chat outs and associate exit inspections
  • assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates
  • engage and influence peers to achieve peak productivity and performance
  • drive cashier accountability in brand experience and system prompts compliance
  • participate in ongoing brand and category training
  • collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
  • ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
  • adhere to dress code
  • complete all transactions and maintain cash control according to policy
  • maintain store cleanliness and protect company assets
  • execute operational tasks as directed
