Job Requirements
- work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must be at least 18 years old to hold the Lead Cashier role
- continuous mobility throughout the store during shifts including twisting
- frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, and reaching
- frequent lifting or moving up to 25 pounds
- continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shifts
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma preferred
- 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
- demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service
- competency in selling
- experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- track record of exceeding sales goals and training new hires
- proficiency with basic technology including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- excellent written and verbal communication
- strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- ability to work both independently and in a team
- ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- ability to adapt under pressure and use good judgment
Job Duties
- contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s retail and service sales goals, omni-channel goals, guest loyalty and retail shrink targets
- ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and personalizing service and recommending products and services
- handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously
- pair guests with associates for makeup, skincare, and product demonstrations to drive sales
- book appointments and support in-store events execution
- maintain organization and replenishment of cashwrap displays and impulse fixtures
- support leadership with cashier chat ins and chat outs and associate exit inspections
- assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates
- engage and influence peers to achieve peak productivity and performance
- drive cashier accountability in brand experience and system prompts compliance
- participate in ongoing brand and category training
- collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
- ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- adhere to dress code
- complete all transactions and maintain cash control according to policy
- maintain store cleanliness and protect company assets
- execute operational tasks as directed
